The labor situation shows us every day, more and more things that never cease to impress or admiration, even things that cause us surprises! they occur. You do not think anyone can imagine that in a private company employees can be inefficient, and with knowledge and consent of Management. Perhaps because of flattering, perhaps by informants (toads), perhaps out of friendship with the owner of the company, the reason is not as important as the fact of its reality. I'm going to talk about a type of employee that I have conceptualized very allegorically with the name: "Employee Folk" which gives a lot of talk within an enterprise, and of course are not well regarded and well commented. Invites them to follow in the following paragraphs to find out what I mean by that concept.
Each company has a working memory of older employees, some of which may no longer provide their services there. I mean those workers which is abuzz with talk under his outstanding career. Actually, in all the companies I've worked I found what I call working memory, applies even to deceased employees but left an admirable track record.
Such is the influence of working memory that I have come to listen that "since so and so left the company, that position was never played with such effectiveness, creating almost a link between the employee and dependents. It is the exemplary employee. Of these portraits can even be kept in the company, when they were occupying management positions.


But there is another type of employee that makes the memory of the firm, but not for its qualities or merits, but on the contrary. Is what I conceptualize as "Employee Folk" whose performance was so bad that he is remembered for the same. It may even be working in the company, and its presence causes derision among employees, and of course discredit management. This is an employee who is so dysfunctional that it makes no difference whether or not even be better if it were not for the reasons given in the rest of the development of this post.


will set a real example. I know a restaurant where the waiter is never at his post. He is always seen gossiping here and there. He keeps mocking and criticizing others. I call it folk used because it is the prototype of the employee who earns the salary of their productivity, but by the folklore of their gossip and jokes. In fact, I think the most popular folk character in Latin America is Cantinflas, whose particular way of expressing himself in his films makes the daily profile people as people cantinfléricas, that is, who talk and talk and say nothing. In his performance, no fruits, simply because management allows you to waste valuable work time in gossip and jokes. Perhaps the only valuable in that host folk is their ability to laugh and gossip owner reported it privately.

The issue is that this character is not unique to that restaurant. There are many folk employees in many companies. With the inexplicable and incomprehensible consent owners.


Those employees folk down the morale of the company, causing a bad example, and because the other look bad to earn the salary without doing anything. This is why I can say that employees walkers (as described in this blog) are a variant of folk employee, not exactly the same, because the employee is not necessarily inefficient walkers, but it costs just to be in place. criticism is that if another employee follows suit, and responds and acts in these patterns, will surely be reprimanded. Reason that makes folk to reject the employee because he weighs about the same administrative sanctions, creating suspicion in the rest of the staff.
